The Sellaronda Clockwise MTB Tour is definitely the easiest one. Thanks to the use of lifts, the remaining altitude gain can be faced without too much effort. There are very few demanding uphill stretches and many technical downhill parts you must pay attention to. Starting from Canazei we will move to Campitello and take the cable car up to Col Rodella, just above the Sella Pass. We will ride down to the Sella Pass and then cross the famous Citta’ dei Sassi (City of Stones), located right at the foot of Sassolungo. We will keep riding against a stunning Dolomites backdrop and after a long downhill section we will reach the Val Gardena. Short below the mountain station of Dantercepies lift we will start riding down to the Gardena Pass and then follow a single trail to Colfosco. We will catch two lifts in Corvara to reach the Alta Via and ride smoothly towards the Campolongo Pass. After taking Campolongo chairlift we will descend to Arabba to take PortaVescovo cable car. From the mountain station we can enjoy the view of the snowy peaks of Marmolada Glacier and the lake Fedaia. We will then tackle a challenging single track descending to Arabba, where we will take the Fodom lift. From its mountain station a long and panoramic descent will bring us down to Canazei. With the help of lifts, where bike transport is allowed, and thanks to the many exciting and panoramic descents, the Sellaronda clockwise Tour can be done in about 6 hours.
