APT Val di Fassa and PON.Bike Italia announce the beginning of a new collaboration starting from 2026, with the aim of supporting the development of Val di Fassa as a bike destination through a shared long-term vision. A central part of this path is also the growth of the Val di Fassa Bike District, the project that brings together the valley’s cycling offer under one identity and guides its evolution.
This partnership comes from the meeting between a leading alpine destination and one of the main international groups in the cycling industry, combining expertise, projects and a shared attention to the quality of the cycling experience.
Located in the heart of the UNESCO Dolomites, Val di Fassa is one of the most complete bike destinations in the Alps. The area offers a wide variety of experiences: from iconic road cycling passes such as Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Fedaia and Gardeccia, to one of the longest and most scenic cycle paths in Italy, the Fiemme and Fassa Dolomites cycle path, as well as more than 400 kilometres of off-road routes connecting mountain huts and high alpine meadows. Added to this are the trails that for more than ten years have hosted international enduro mountain bike events, helping to strengthen the sporting identity of the destination.
Pon.Bike Italia is the company representing leading high-end bicycle brands in Italy, with an offer focused on performance, quality and market value. The group sees the bicycle as an integrated system able to embrace sport, tourism and everyday mobility. Within this context, international brands active in different areas of cycling coexist, including Santa Cruz, Focus, Cervélo, Kalkhoff, Reserve and OneUp, reflecting the group’s ability to interpret cycling in all its forms and applications.
“The recent The Family Day reminded us how important it is for PON.Bike Italia to build real relationships around our brands, together with ambassadors, creators, collaborators and athletes. Today we are happy to welcome Val di Fassa into this family as well, a destination that we feel is fully aligned with our vision of the bicycle: as an experience, as a culture and as an opportunity for development.”
Giorgio Garofoli, CEO of Pon.Bike Italia
The collaboration will include dedicated activities and events, with the goal of strengthening the positioning of Val di Fassa and the Val di Fassa Bike District as an Italian and international reference point for cycling in all its different forms, from sport to leisure mobility.
“The growth of the bike product in Val di Fassa also depends on the ability to create opportunities throughout the entire season, involving different audiences and enhancing the whole hospitality system. In this sense, the collaboration with PON.Bike Italia represents a key step forward: a shared growth path based on common values such as innovation, responsibility and quality, focused on the guest experience, with the goal of increasingly promoting the bicycle experience in one of the most iconic landscapes in the world.” Nicolò Weiss, Director of APT Val di Fassa
