At its debut on the Enduro World Series scene, Val di Fassa is already one of the most eagerly anticipated venues of 2019. Italian company MET is ready to give full support to the event and establish an all-round collaboration with the venue.
MET ENDURO WORLD SERIES VAL DI FASSA is going to be one of the most sought-after mountain-bike events of the 2019 season.
After a journey that lasted a few years, with venue and staff working hard to organize memorable editions of the national series Superenduro, EWS Qualifier and European EWS events, it is finally time for Val di Fassa to take the leap and play host to the Enduro World Series.
Presently, EWS represents the highest expression of mountain bike Enduro across the world, with the fastest athletes in the discipline competing on groomed trails in some of the most prestigious venues out there: Whistler (Canada), Northstar (California), Zermatt (Switzerland), Madeira (Portugal) and other locations, all included in the 2019 calendar together with Val di Fassa.
‘We are excited and honoured to host an event of this magnitude; the committee and the whole region have been working hard since last January, when the nomination was announced, to prepare an event that will be up to the best EWS rounds and to the location we live in’, tells us Fassa Bike’s William Basilico, event organizer.
Met Enduro World Series Val di Fassa will take place on 29 June; it will be the fourth round and the halfway point of the 2019 season of EWS.
In preparation for this highly anticipated event, everything has been taken care of down to the last detail, starting with the logo, just approved: it encompasses in a strong and high-impact graphics all elements that will make the event unique: the Dolomites – UNESCO World Heritage, the EWS colours and MET, title sponsor of the event.
The logo will be at the core of the graphics that will cover the valley with colours during the winter too: over cable car cabins, in hotels and in all tourist information offices.
Met Helmets company will have a leading role not only during the days of the event but also in the course of the whole season, becoming the official supplier of Fassa Bike’s staff and supporting several events and initiatives.
‘We are very happy about this new collaboration with Val di Fassa, a venue that shares with MET a goal: to be a reference in the MTB world. Our intention is to create a strong bond between the brand and all those who play an important role in the ambitious project of MTB development in Val di Fassa’, adds Achille Montanelli, marketing manager of MET.
Even if the winter is upon us here in Val di Fassa, the whole organizing machine is already at work for what promises to be a truly epic MTB event.
