The tour can be started also from Canazei. By means of lifts we will reach the Pordoi Pass (2.250 m). We will then climb an altitude gain of 650 m carrying bikes on our shoulders up to the Pordoi Saddle (2.880 m). Here we will catch a technical path leading to the Boè Refuge (2.873 m). We will climb up a short stretch both riding and carrying bikes. After reaching the highest point of the tour we will ride down to the D’Antersass Saddle (2.839 m). We will be surrounded by a huge lunar plateau, which is the upper part of the Sella massif. We will then face the technical downhill track through Val Lasties which is characterized by a S5 degree on STS scale.
The remaining 1.700 m altitude drop to Canazei is a very enjoyable and not too demanding section, with an average difficult degree of S3.
